Best Drink Selection in The World
I am so happy to announce that my bar Salvatore at Playboy has won yet another award! This time we have been given the title of 'World's Best Drink Selection' at the 2012 Spirited Awards at Tales of the Cocktails in New Orleans - a massive achievement in the bar world!
The best bars and bartenders from all over the world competed in this celebration of international excellence. This is such a fantastic honour for the bar. It has taken years to create my perfect menu and it is humbling for this to be recognised worldwide.
As some of you will know, I have the largest and most expensive collection of vintage spirits in the world on display at Playboy, some stretching back to the 1700's, which makes up my liquid history collection!
Our latest award joins a long list of achievements and major honours for the Salvatore brand, including the Class Awards 2011, Outstanding Achievement to the Industry, the prestigious Keeper of the Quaich accolade, Drinking Out Excellence Awards' Spirits Personality of the Year 2009 and the Italian equivalent of the OBE.
